⁹ I wrote something to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to ^(A)be first among them, does not welcome ^[a]what we say. ¹⁰ For this reason, ^(B)if I come, I will bring to remembrance his deeds which he does, unjustly disparaging us with wicked words. And not satisfied with this, he himself does not ^(C)welcome the ^(D)brothers either, and he forbids those who want to do so and ^(E)puts them out of the church.

¹¹ Beloved, ^(F)do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. ^(G)The one who does good is of God; ^(H)the one who does evil has not seen God.
